Back Chain

A mix & match style necklace. 
My mom has had carpal tunnel surgery, but she struggles to do necklaces up at the back, because clasps are fiddly. 
I made her a necklace with a ring bead on each end and used a double sided lobster claw magnetic clasp. Thereby leaving mom able to attach the lobster claws to the necklace with the ease of a magnetic clasp. 
Sure, I could charge her every time for a magnetic clasp, but that felt really mean. Now, I simply make her a bead string with 2 rings and no clasp and she moves the clasp to the necklace she wants to wear. 
This is basically the same idea, but taken a couple of steps further. You buy a “chain” (or beaded thread or suede/ leather etc) with 2 lobster claws. You buy a string of beads of a colour you want, you add a pendant. You can change the look by simply changing the pendant, or either of the strings, or, you can just order a string of different coloured beads to use as an accessory with another outfit.
